well...im persuing my options right now of a front end conversion...id like to do a S14a conversion (the kouki S14 with the mean headlights if u dont know lol) on my S13 hatch...this seems to be a VERY hard topic to find info on as not many people in america have done this...i have a few pics of japanese cars with the conversion and it looks AWESOME!!!....ne ways...so yah is there ne special stuff i need to get (like conversion fenders) cause from everything ive read on the subject (which isnt much) it seems all i need are some USDM S14a fenders hood lights and bumper and im set....just need to fabricate light brackets and get some S15 hood hinges

anyone done this on here??? any info would be appreciated as the S14 conversion is a bit cheaper for me as i drift my car and all the parts can be had in america EASILY

Lennon.

You have a license plate that says Sil80. And you have popup lights.

figure out what you wanna do and stick to it! seems like you spent the money for the blingin plate you should have the s13 front end to back it up.

I have pics of 1, count em 1 USDM S13.4. I am 99.9% sure that he used all stock stuff, fenders hood and I know he used a stock kouki bumper. It would be funny if it all bolted up, but it looks like he just trimmed all of it.

haha

Awesome.

I think it will look JDMtight

BTW: the blingin' plates aint that 'spensive in NV negroid.

Question(s) for DJ Lenn

you said "as the S14 conversion is a bit cheaper for me as i drift my car and all the parts can be had in america EASILY"

1.) Cheaper than what?

2.) S13 parts are pretty easily sourced in the states too eh?

well its cheaper than S13 parts (where as if i fuked up the S13 bumper or fenders etc etc i would have to order them from some shop or company that over charges for em in the first place...NO S13 conversion should cost over $500...i know what it costs from a junk yard in japan and for shipping to the states...and guess what...ITS NOT $1000-$1300) ne ways...yah S14 parts can all be had from my local dealership and local junkyards

and mr Chunki...the S14 front on a 180 is called a 1480 conversion...also its considered a Sil80 cause its a silvia front of a 180sx back...people in japan refer to the 1580 conversion as a Sil80 as well...i havent completely made up my mind yet as to what silvia front end i wanna do...just persuing my options as far as cost and availablity of GOOD parts (not fenders and bumpers that are TORE up like most places sell)

hahah, i don't think lennon knows about my new name.

S14.3, S1480, both same crap. 6 of one, half a dozen of the other.

look, kouki headlight conversions aren't cheap either. ESPECIALLY from a dealership. Otherwise you'd have a lot more zenki s14 owners converting from jellybeans to kouki headlights.

it's going to end up costing you the same in the end if you buy the parts and if you nail a wall. that is unless you have some sort of special hookup at nissan.
