Questions about 248/248 cam swap

ok i just did the swap. everything good idles good and runs good all good but the only thing is now that i drive it and when i come to a spot the car dies. but it will idle fine when turned back on. my idle control valve thing was already acting up. and they were saying that it may be pulling to much vacuum and causing it to die. any help ppl

248/248 jacks your idle, so fix your idle control valve or up your idle.

248/248 is going to give you a lot more overlap, definitely going to mess with your vacuum at idle. Just use the adjustment screw on the TB to open the throttle plate a bit and you'll be fine.
