I have questions about running 1000cc injectors..I'm running a gt2876 with a 84 ar...I bought sidefeed that were suppose to be 520s but instead were 1000s..my question is can I have the car tuned with the 1000s and it run good..not holy s*** rich all the time..no huge impact on driveability and an idle...any feedback would be much appreciated..thank you for your time

That is A LOT of fuel for that turbo. Only way to use them is you are going to have to lean the 5hiT out of it when you get it tuned. I'd sell those and get the proper ones for your setup. Your gas mileage won't be happy lol.

I'll trade you my 450cc injectors for them! lol

Maybe run e85 in the mean time? Not really anything you can do about it, other than get smaller injectors.

I don see what the problem is. Just get the car tuned. They will run at a nice low duty cycle. Fuel economy will really depend on the tune and how much right foot restraint you have. I run 850's with my 2871 and it's smooth as butter. It does go through gas fast when i am beating on it. But if i stay off the boost is gets good mileage around 25MPG. Probably could get better but I can't stay off the boost totally.

Now the real problem is whether or not those injectors will even work with your ECU without resistors. The only side feed, high impedance, 1000cc injecotrs i have ever seen were made from Power Enterprise. Those very well maybe the kind you have. I am just speculating.

Hello, I have a red-top sr20det and my mods list is this: gt2871r .86 turbo, Greddy intake manifold, 1000cc Precision injectors, HKS fuel rail, 255 Walbro fuel pump, Brian Crower 272 cams, and the Apexi Power FC D-Jetro. Im sure that im forgetting a few things but that is pretty much the basic set up... But anyways, the question I am asking is what should my injectors be set at on my Power FC? I have it running kind of decent I guess but it sort of sputters at times when boosting. So if anybody has a general idea of what to set 1000cc injectors at on a sr20 with the above mods please let me know... Thanks alot!!!
