i had removed the fan and fan clutch today with plans on installing electric fans. after i removed the entire fan assembly, it left a hole (where the clutch used to be) in the block. do they sell plates to put over the hole? i need something to put over it cuz it looks like coolant runs throught it. any help in leading me in the right direction would greatly be appriciated.

When you removed your fan and clutch, did any coolant came out? If what you are describing is correct... you probably actually removed the water pump also... not good. I hope you didn't run your car with it off.

Yeah, you only needed to remove the 4 10mm nuts located on the water pump pulley. If you removed something from the block itself, it was the water pump. You need to get some rtv silicone gasket maker and reinstall the pump! First remove the fan/clutch setup from the water pump pulley by the 4 nuts. Then reattach the pulley to the water pump without the fan using the same nuts.
