I have a KA24DE, and I removed my upper intake manifold so I could remove my EGR system and replace/clean it. I'm now in the process of putting it back, but I noticed that this "hose" doesn't connect to the EGR SOLENOID, so my question is: What part is this? What function does it serve?

It looks like it might just be a breather tube/hose coming from the transmission. Can you trace it to see where it goes?

That's right, its the breather tube from the trans.
