question, the fan seems like its on ?

i hadn't used the car in 10 days 'cuz i was on vacation, when i went out to it yesterday mornign to take it to work, i started it and you know the engine fan kicks in when you start it and eventually it quiets down....

damnest thing, it didn't turn off that engine fan, so i figure ok just a bit sticky or something and drove to work, when i go to work its still on and i sound like a mack truck pulling away from lights, LOL...figuring this was wierd i drove it home after work and it was doing the same thing, went to the bike shop to get some parts restarted the car same thing, AND THEN ?! i pulled into the driveway and it stopped ?!!? what gives, anyone know why the fan wouled stay on like that?
