I recently bought a Q45 MAF when I was suppose to get a RB25 MAF. My motorset didnt ship with it from Zerolift Autolab. I told them that I didnt get the MAF with my motorset and all they could tell me is that they ordered some more and waiting for them to come in. Well it took over 3 months of b/s and lies to get my motorset. So I have a feeling it will take another 3 months before I get my MAF from them.

So I went and bought this Q45 MAF and the guy at the shop told me that he got it running on a RB25 with stock ecu. So I said okay Ill buy it and see if it works.

So here is my dilema, will my RB25 run properly with a Q45 MAF without tuning?

I know the answer is probably NO! If that is the case I will try to return it and get my money back since I dont have a way to tune my engine to work with it.

ThanksDanny

you're right it won't work without at least a chipped ecu.

You can probably get it to work fine if you get an SAFC or something to compensate.

Otherwise yea a chip tune would be even better.
