ok, first of wat do you mean "It goes up to where it should be,but its over heating" could you elaborate more? like does it go to normal and then goes up more to overheat, or the gauge says its normal but its overheating??? It could be your thermostat? give me more details

Well, all summer,I always left the fan on every time I would drive around, and the gauge always stayed down on Cold, and when I would shut off the fan it would start overheating after a couple of minutes of sitting there with no fan...I mean the temp gauge would go up to the middle where it should be....!!!

And I already changed the thermostat, and changed the coolant sensor....

??????help...

did you put in a S13 coolant temp sensor? they read different s13 & s14.(S14 reading higher on S13 harness/ecu, confirmed by consult)

I still don't understand what you're trying to say.

1) Do you mean the temp gauge would be in the middle but the engine would actually be overheating?

2) Where is the needle on the temp gauge when this overheating occurs?

3) What are your signs of overheating?

1)YES !!2)in the middle3)Well its 30'c outside and when I don't turn the fan on,it goes up to the middle...But if I turn the fan back on,after a couple minutes,it goes back down to Cold!!

this is easy

you left the 98KA temp sensor in the upper intake manifold. you may have changed the largeplastic connector coolant temperature sensor (which is sincerely hope you used an S13 sensor) but you failed to change the spade connector sensor right next to it. thats the sensor that goes to the gauge.

It could be because my car is a 93 coupe, and the motor is a 98 s14KA,and my ECU is a 91...????And the temp sensor is a 93 on a 98 intake...
