sooo do anyone know if i can take the projectors off a 2010 and put it on a 09 coupe.

like would the bulbs fit?? or can i just take the whole headlight set and replace it with the 2010s cause the body of the front looks different so i dont think i can.

or if anyone knows a place to buy projector bulbs for our car cause i've looked like EVERYWHERE and couldnt find anything.

thanks in advance

1) 2010s wont fit on the 2008-09 (they wack anyway)
2) Woudlnt sense to to open up 2010s n then open up a 2009 then try to make it...
3) Talk to Dangeris Darryl... Red Coupe.. hes got the custom projectors project down to a key... but its gunna be pricey.. lol tell u that.. but if u wanna do it your self he can give you all the info on projectors and where to get n which 1s... good luck.. not an eassy thing

Same goes with the projectors from the 2010. Yes, techically if you wanted to fabricate them into the 2009 headlight assembly they would fit. But it won't be a simple swap between the two.

naaa cause i dont really like how the lights look, it just looks plain thats why i wanna change it up a bit and see what i can play with.

what do you mean "Same goes with the projectors from the 2010. Yes, techically if you wanted to fabricate them into the 2009 headlight assembly they would fit. But it won't be a simple swap between the two" ??

I'll chime in too, cause I am the proud owner of some serious Dangeris Projectors, with the R8 LED strip, courtesy of Matt (Phenom) My purchase has made me so broke I owe my reflection money! But, as noted above by Matt, it is SOOOOOOOOOO totally worth it and I'm glad I had the money to do it. The install is being done tomorrow (11/11) and I'll post up when finished. :yesnod

Darryl said, with parts and labor to make his headlights was about $1800 over $1000 in just parts.....

Im not sure if thats how much he was saying he charges. Im sure its case by case depending on what someone wants. It will be worth it thats for sure, Ive gone to 3 shows with Darryl everytime 2 time he recieved first, one time which was Carlisle with several thousand cars there he got 3rd which is pretty damn good since his grouping sucked if I recal, so if you want a 1st place car, he is definitely the man to go to!

Yeah, I mean I wouldn't recommend someone to do this if it's their first time ever fabricating something, but you have to start somewhere. Good thing is that you have a great community here that will help you as best as possible every step of the way if you decide to go this route.

Here are links to the 2010 headlight assembly driver's and passenger's sides:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GENUINE- ... ccessories

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GENUINE- ... 1919wt_941

You'll have to purchase those, heat the seal and open them, and remove the projectors. From there you'll need to heat the seal and open your existing 2009 headlights and remove the components in them, measure and fabricate a housing for the 2010 projectors and then place the 2010 projectors inside your 2009 headlights. Then you'll need to reseal your newly modified headlights.

It's a big project — do you think you're up to it? I wouldn't blame ya' if you weren't! ;)
Ok i know your new to this section so please dont give him this advice hahaha HORRIBLE idea plus WAY TO MUCH MONEY

If you want to make your own projectors its possible you just need 2 projectors and the shrouds Darryl can prob tell you which ones they arent cheap but 10x easier than doing whats above ^^. What you need to do is bake your lights like he said and take the projectors you bought and mount the shrouds. THIS IS NOT AN EASY MODDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i cant stress this enough and noone listens to me. Ive done this before and it came out sickkkkkk but its a s*** ton of work. Plus i can say this, youll have about a 70% chance of them fogging up from not resealing them right. Just ask dreed his do it now hahaa. Mine personally never did this so i told dreed what i did "what darryl told me" and hopefully it works for him. In the end dude just get HID's and tint the lights trust me it still looks sick and is 100000000000x cheaper hahaha plus i added red leds where the orange park lights are and it looks like demon eyes

if that's how much he's charging, he's making a KILLING!! But hey, it's their $ if they badly wanna overpay for projectors. There are other ppl doing retrofits for a much lower price, u just gotta know who.

i've done my own retrofit and i must say i agree with what everyone is saying. not an easy task and i've screwed up a few times, but hey, its a learning experience, and im about to do another set cuz i sorta screwed my own up, but nonetheless works still, bright lights, and i just feel like making another set since i know what to do and what not to do. been looking to do more retrofits.

so go with what u want cuz there are places out there that do them, but all for a pretty penny.
