A few of you might remember my truck being in the shop for five months and all that, and receiving a completely new front suspension, including bushings and everything. Well, for some reason my right turning radius seems to be cut in half and when I try to turn it, it sometimes makes some gut wrenching noises. Any idea as to why it's making this noise and not turning as sharply?

do you have any frame bend that might have messed up suspension and steering travel? have a buddy turn the wheel for you and see if you can see any issues while you're under there.

Turning as sharply like as how fast it turns into a right-hand corner? Or do the wheels just not turn as far? Not sure on a 720, but my D21 has turn limiters on the lower control arms that can make nasty sounds when the cheap nylon cap wears off.

It doesn't turn sharp enough, or as far. Same thing. The jack... mechanic I took it said the frame was "pristine". But, I'm starting to think otherwise. I'll get it on some stands tomorrow and have someone turn it for me.

It is almost like the pitman arm wasn't put on straight, then everything was aligned that way. Just a guess.

Did the mechanic have the steering box centered when he/she reattached the steering shaft?

I'm not sure exactly how he did it, by the time I got there I was just ready to pick up my truck and get out of there before he tried to keep it for a few more months. I'm waiting for my dad to get here so we can try to figure this out though. While cleaning out my truck earlier I found a 24 year old pack of gum though, ha.
