The altima and the 240sx have the same engine. Does the 240sx hvae better numbers or what? Thye preform the same? Some kid in my schoolwas saying, " All yeh man, the 240's are soo fast, they got the engine of an altima."

the new altimas have a 2.5L engine, but yes the old ones have the 2.4L KA.

Any FF car will have less driveline loss than FR car. So if you had the same exact engine in a FF car and a FR car and stuck it on a dyno, the FF car will always have more power. However the altima has more timid cams, possibly lower CR, and weighs more. Cause of those things the altima might be alittle slower, but im not sure.

The altima was slower in stock form. 4 door sedan != 2 door sport compact (with same engine at least)
