Can you swap the lower ball joint on 93', J30 with one from different year infinty or different model. The infinity dealership provide one but it comes with the link and it doesn't come separate.I don't really want to buy the whole thing.Just wondering

I'm fairly certain that lower ball joints are the same for all Infiniti J30's regardless of year. The lower ball joint however is not shared with other North American Nissan/Infiniti vehicles.

So you mean that if I buy lower ball joint from infinity I30, '96 (that's the only one I found on internet) it will fit on my J30. thanks

The I30 ball joint won't fit the J30, only a J30 ball joint from any year will fit a J30.

+1 I have tried to just replace the ball joint before but eventually replaced the whole control arm. Much easier but a little more expensive.
