I don't understand how the <'07 350z's had the VQ35 and many were able to fit turbos. How come the only turbo out for the altima coupe has to stick out the hood? Is a smaller turbo possible?

And i just saw a few videos of an altima coupe beating a g35 and a g37.I'm not sure what mods the altima had, but I got to thinking.

what if a VQ37 was swapped into the altima haha just a fun thought.

the G and Z have rear while drive, their engines are positioned from front to back, so there is additional room on either side of the engine to fit turbo(s)

350Z's are RWD, the engine is mounted in-line with the drive train plenty of room ,even more in the 03-06 Z's as they were single intake, new one's have dual intakes...
