Hi there, Does anybody know how I can take off the little dash panel that goes around the radio in my '93 J30 Infiniti. My lighter and my cd doesn't work so I'd like to figure out what is wrong with it.

I don't own a J30 but here's a link to the factory service manual (FSM) for your car. The 94 J30 FSM should be the same as the 93. It's a compressed file so you'll need Winrar to unzip it.

If the center console on the J30 is anything like the Q45, the piece that surrounds the shifter gets pried up first and this exposes the screws for the stereo surround. On the Q you gently, with a padded screwdriver, pry this piece up at the base near your right knee. The FSM will show it step-by-step.
