I was wondering what all you have done with your smog stuff like egr and all that. I took mine off becuase I don't need to smog. I also didn't conect some of the unimportant trany plugs. So I know my ecu is probably throwing up some codes, but I was wondering if that would affect my performance. I have a 91 ka24de. I was told by one person that if a code is in the ecu it will go into a limp mode and will only run the injectors in a narrow band or something. I'm running 10-12 psi with 42lb injectors and running +50 on my safc 2 at the hi rpm's with a 12 afr. But it seems not to have the power I was expecting to get from 10-12 psi. Any thoughts?

Limp mode means the ECU won't allow the car to be revved over 2500 or so RPM. WHat are you using to pull timing out on boost? Did you block of the EGR port on the intake? How are you tuning the AFR's?

I have a msd btm to controll timing. Yes I blocked the egr with a plate. And like I said , I'm using a safc 2 to controll fuel for the afr.

How many degree's per lb of boost are you retarding?? I had mine set to .5 and I was boosting 12psi without a single problem. With the knob set to one full degree it was WAY slower. Thats simply to much timing to be takin off.

I'm at .5 also. What injectors are you running? and if your running a safc 2 what are you set at. On mine on HI throtle I'm 2000 -103000 +54000 +365000 +50

Ya I had it set to 1 or 1.5 when I was running really crappy gas and it was a slug. But I just would of though that 10-12 psi would launch my car better. It just doen't feel like 250-300 hp. Maybe I'm not up there.

I'm running 42 lb injectors with the SAFCII and MSD BTM. I ran out of fuel pump before my injectors maxed out. Since I'm still using the stock S14 pump.

You should get your car on a dyno, it's really the only way to troubleshoot.

Mine was choking at 14psi, so I'd say 12 would be the limit.

I'm running a small turbo. Its a th04-15G. I am probably at its max. Do you think it might be at past its efficency? I have an aftermarket fuel pump on so I don't think thats the problem. I probably just need to go to the dyno and find out how much power I really have.
