Are you sure you need a spacer up front with a strut/spring setup? Coilover setups need spacers with those wheels because the spring perch sits lower. The springs would sit higher on a spring/strut setup.

If indeed you do need a spacer, a 10mm should do the job. Don't forget to get extended studs.

Hmm i never thought about that. i assumed that one would need a spacer because struts seem thicker/bigger overall than a coilover setup does. i appreciate your answer i was hoping it wasnt a response like

" sportmaxx wheels are gay"

Have you bought the wheels yet? I could recommend some other wide (yet inexpensive) four lug wheels that wouldn't require spacers...

I have not bought the wheels yet...im doing all my homework before i drop 5-600bucks for wheels lol. i had a set of 962 just last year they were 18x9.5 and 18x8.5 but stupid me sold them now i want another set lol um if you dont mind please do give reccomendations

so far i have my eyes set on 17x9 35offset and 18x9.5 38 offset in flat black with red pinstripe. i have found them on Next Level Motoring and so far the checkout cart says 557 with shipping inlcuded...that seems like quite a bit lol. im not worried about tires or mounting+balancing because i work for goodyear so that will save me quite a bit.

The wheels will be going on a 93 black coupe

I bought a set of wheels a while back for my hatch they are 18x9 24 and 18x10 22 the fronts fit very flush with the fender with minimal - camber but the rears stick out about an inch an some change. so the reason i want to stay away from lower offsets is to avoid having to run crazy camber to tuck and since this is my dd i dont have much money to spend because most of it goes towards my hatch. Also im going ka-t at the moment on both hatch and coupe, so id like to save a few bucks and since xxr wheels look nice(to me) why not get a set(again) lol and to add... since this car dosent have coils it would be hard to pull off low offset wheels(look) sticking out without adj rucas and height adjustability

18x10+22 stuck out about an inch?! Something is wrong here. What size tires were you running?

Here's 17x10+22 with 275/40/17

This might help you though:

Its rare to say this, but i guess in your caes... getting the 962's actually makes sense. Meh... Hella-flush is just a passing fad anyways. Man sized tires FTW.

Thats funny i wouldnt think that an inchin size would affect the wheel that much but i guess it does. i had 235-40 pirelli tires on them but the stretch was to much for me so then i removed them and intsalled 245-40 eagle f1 a/s on it and stretched out nicely. if this guys wheels are really what he says they are i dont know wtf is up with mine lol. i will prob end up going with the 962 because of price. i liked the rotas in the link but they seem to be more than what i can get the 962's for....oh well thanks for your help man.

The pics i thought were all of the 18x10 i just noticed that they are similar to my setup thanks...i should clear with a small spacer. i will post pics when i end up getting the wheels in the next month or two, along with my budget ka-t

Did I buy your wheels rb240? Some kid in a black ranger? any ways I am also in the same boat I am scared to buy spacers as I am unsure of what size I need. I have heard +15 is a good offset but with +35 that would mean i need a 20mm spacer to clear my stock suspension in the front?
