I know I should have done this already, but I'll admit I'm a procrastinator. I've heard tale that I should change the transmission and differential fluids from nissan stock to an aftermarket brand like Redline or Royal Purple. Anyone have any suggestions?

Another question would be where would be the best place to take the car to have this taken care of?

Premium fluids might offer a tiny bit of longevity improvement, however just changing MT and Diff frequently can offer improvements by removing the wear particles [cleaning diff magnet drain plug].

All depends on WHEN you want to replace failed components 100k, 150k, 250k?

So when would you replace the Diff/transmission fluids on the 6MT? Is it an easy procedure? (I've never changed Manual Trans fluid)

Be careful of the warranty. I am pretty sure that changing from non-Nissan fluids will void the warranty.
