Hi all!

When the "snow" button is turned on on the g35x 2007, does the car change from AWD to 4WD? What really changes?

It slows down the gears so you dont SPIN . the car WILL move slower to gain traction and avoid sudden lost of control.

My recollection is that it locks the front-rear at 50% (half the power to the front wheels, half to the back) until something like 30 MPH (and then it reverts to the non-snow mode). Normally it's anywhere between 0-25% front and 75-100% rear. Locking it at 50% front/rear will balance the power and give better traction in snow conditions.

I am not sure about the ratio but you right. It locks them down to it and it controll your acceleration.
