i am getting a 95 240sx se with 175K miles on it, price around 2000 and i have about 4000 left to work on the car, do you guys think i should get springs, shocks, rims, caliper, rotor and 97 front end conversion OR go ahead and swap a sr20det in it and leave everything else stock? also i am considering either a S13 redtop or black top, i kinda want the red top because they are cheaper than black top, but i am worry about the age of red top, they were usually 91-93 engines, i am worry about the engine might have problem over time....what do you guys think??

why do you want a front end conversion? the zenki front end's lines go best with the carr. And if you want info. on the sr20det, go to the sr20det section of NICO. They will help you, thats why its there.

If i were you, I would do full suspension(ie coilovers) and do a full 300zx brake upgrade. Don't bother doing any cosmetic work untill you have more money. Do coilovers and brakes, then save for the SR swap. I have a redtop, but its hardly that fun with the old worn, stock suspension....well ok, its still fun...but it would be better if i could go through turns faster

I would do the SR and build around that. That's going to be your biggest chunk of cash. The other stuff you can piecemeal. At least that's the Philosophy of repo.

I am now going to leave work and get into my Escalade...

I'd say get suspension and brakes first, you don't have to spend a lot of money on them, but just a mild upgrade, and then take the money you have left over and save it intill you get enough money for the SR20
