I say Big Bear, just because I have never been to Wrightwood.

Me and my father like Mammoth mountain the best though (he skiis, i snowboard)

I would take the 4runner as well, thats what we take up on our mountain trips, its bone stock but handles well. I wouldn't really want to test out the altima coupe, I don't wanna risk any damage from sliding

I feel like our cars handle terrible in the snow. I had a maxima and it was great the coupe is all over the road for me. I have to stock tires on right now so that could be part of the reason. But i was real dissapointed during the first snowstorm here.

I agree. I'm glad the OP decided to take the 4Runner because doing it in the Altima would be ridiculous. The coupe is by far the worst winter vehicle I've ever driven and at the moment I'm running Michelin X-Ice winter tires! Very big flaw on Nissan's part IMHO...

let me just say your right my mom has an altima and the thing scares the **** outta me to drive in the snow and the rain its even kinda bad. The car just unexplainable will start to fish tail. idk i would much rather have my 240 and slip up till 4th gear lol at least i can feel what the car is gonna do. Anyway to the op forerunner ftw i love those things.

funny TC, i was just up in big bear with my coupe last weekend for some boarding.

it handled fine, fortunately there was no rain, sleet and not much snowfall so it was ok.

i hit one little patch of ice on the way down the 18 and felt alittle slip but the TCS handled it perfectly.

if you have a choice though, i'd take the truck.

PS: i used to live in wrightwood, MT HIGH FTW!

You got that right!! And this is coming from someone originally from Hawaii

How have you been, Tyler? I'm finally settled down in my new state and quite frankly, snow sucks!! I hope all has been well on NICO in my absence.
