Does negative camber on the front affect toe angle? if so, how? Also, does lowering the front affect toe angle as well?

although camber and toe are directional angles (as well as wear angles), IIRC camber shouldnt really effect toe. lowering the front will just spread the tires out (negative camber).

oic... yeah, cuz my toe angle is off (spreading outward), and I was wondering if it was my neg. camber, or drop that was causing that... ugh.... I need an alignment, my frekkin tires are wearing out

well the only time toe can wear out tires is when the oppose each others direction of travel.

so lets say both wheels are facing inside. your car will still track straight, however overtime the inner portion of the tire will wear out (even exposing steel belts). what front suspension are you running anyway? your tie rods are what control the toe in the front.

if you were closer, i woulda hooked you up with a free laser alignment. :P.

yeah, its my inner tire that's wearing out... I wish I was closer, alignment hook-ups would be great.. =/

i'm only on coilovers, everything else is oem w/ energy bushings

On the 240sx front suspension, camber angle DOES effect toe angle, but very slightly.

Lowering the car has notable effects on front toe, and bump steer.

camber does have an affect on toe. that is why you set ride height, castor, camber, then toe. toe is always last because castor affects camber, ride height affects camber, and camber affects toe.that does not mean you cant have some camber with no toe, or vice versa. but if you set everything up then you adjust one thing without correcting everything else, it will mess the alignment up.yeah, sorry, that might be a little confusing, but i hope you understood it ok. if not ill try to clear it up some.
