Question referring motorswap and 5speed conversion

Alright, here's the deal the motor im getting has approximately 118,XXX miles on it and it's been sitting for 2-4 months. And was wondering if it would be best to do the 5 speed conversion after i do the motor swap and make sure it's running properly with the automatic transmission. Then do the conversion at a later time?

No conversion is straight forward, do it while you have the car apart.
