Question re: prices on Nismo mods...Cdn vs. U.S.

A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

Well, I just paid a visit to my dealer yesterday, and while I was there I asked about prices for headers, a cat back system and the CAI for my 03 SE-R.Holly crap, it's expensive. The header was over a thou., the cat back was over $1,500, and the air intake was almost $500. (That's in Canadian bucks) . How does this compare to prices in the States? I'll probably be going to Atlanta later this spring, and was hoping I could do better down there. Either that, or I forget about Nismo altogether and go shopping on E-bay.Any advice will be welcome. Thanks.

I don't know what the conversion rate is, but the NISMO header runs about US$625 or so if I recall.

IMO, the NISMO stuff isn't worth the extra cost. No more gains than non-Nissan aftermarket parts and a ton more cost.

edit: Apparently Nissan has almost gotten a clue. The header can be had for US$495 - http://www.trademotion.com/par...77868 - still overpriced, but closer to reasonable.

That's still cheaper than here. I have to add about another 20% to convert to U.S. dollars. If that header runs about $500 U.S., then it will cost me about $600 Canadian. That's not counting shipping etc.Thanks.
