Question re: Installing factory XM radio in '08 Xterra Off Road

O.K. -- Here's the story. I have an 08 Xterra Off Road that I ordered with the Technology Package, which includes, with other things, the Rockford Fosgate sound system. However, since my Off Road was equipped with a manual transmission, I was unable to get the XM radio. Now, I realize that I can buy an aftermarket XM receiver and plug it into the AUX jack, but I like the idea of having the clean installation appearance of the factory setup. I don't believe that the manual transmission version is pre-wired for satellite radio. Is it possible to install the Nissan factory XM radio components in my vehicle? What is Nissan's reason for not having satellite radio available for those vehicles equipped with a manual transmission? Any thoughts or installation suggestions that you may have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
