i am pretty sure the answer is no but i was just wondering if you could use the sensor included in a wideband setup in place of the stock one. im not too familiar with widebands other than they are better than a/f gauges and i can use them for a lot of fun tricks for my emanage ultimate

It's possible, but I've read that it is not as accurate as the oem sensor.

Here is stupid question #2:

ok well i found a bunch both w or with out controller boxes. i was just wondering do i really need to get one with the controller box if im just basically using it as an input into my emanage ultimate which will do all the data logging along with my laptop.

If you're using it with e-manage ultimate, just get the sensor. You won't need the display.

Just make sure the sensor you buy is compatible.

he would still need the controller though, just not a display.

if you are justing looking for something cheap with an analog output, check out the base zeitronix. should be ~280 for the controller, sensor, and cables/harnesses.the lc-1 is another basic wideband setup that you should look into.
