Right now I'm running an enthalpy tune on my SR for a 2871r, z32, 740cc injectors...and a few other things.

Would I need to upgrade the tune necessarily for a Greddy intake manifold and their 'easy' cams? I have an SAFC I used to back some fuel out to compensate for the richness of the tune as well

I think so. I had mine retuned when i changed to ISIS intake manifold and 9.0:1 pistons. And I know i've read before that if you are changing cams you may want to. However the cams/intake are only going to allow for more airflow and if your previous tune was too rich who knows, you may be ok, especially if you have a wideband like I do and can monitor AFR. Also, it will probably be hard as hell to get ahold of Scott and it make take quite a while to get a new tune in. I can't complain about mine tho, the tune is spot on.

And you're right. That's my main concern. I may be selling my second car this weekend, so I can't go without the car while the ecu is out and not knowning when I may get it back.

I don't have a wideband right now, but I will by the time this takes place.

I appreciate the feedback. Anyone else?

You won't have to take the ECU out tho. He will just send you 2 little chips that you install onto the daugherboard yourself. So you can keep driving the car until it comes in. If you don't feel comfortable getting on it while waiting on the new tune then dont. I drove mine for a couple of days on the old tune after my rebuild, no big deal.

Gotcha. That's the first I've heard of him sending the units to you for you to install. I'm just waiting to hear back from him now as far as getting the re-tune done.

good luck w/ that s***. I talked to him for 4 months, no s***, before he finally sent me a new tune. He knew my car was down at the time and I pretty much had the new tune in by the time a drove the car a day or so. But he had 4 months that he could have re-written a new tune and sent it out. I told him from the jump what I changed, but i guess he didn't rush because my car was down. Good luck though
