question on the power windows on a s14

ok so about a month after owning my s14 the power windows, on the driver side, wouldnt roll down but the passanger would. I found out that the window relay went bad, so i replaced it. about 2 weeks afterwards the same problem happened again. Not sure why..

I was thinking about getting a new unit instead of used. So my question isDo i have bad luck or is something not right? I cant figure out the problem, i checked all the wires and they were all fine. i need opinions.

To my knowledge majority of 95/96 had this issue its not uncommon to have. Nissan revised this in 97/98 got rid of the component that was failing all together. I would opt to buy a new unit, its a grey box right,.,should be 60-80dollar range. My 95 was slowly starting to have the window problem but got totalled before fixing the issue.
