Please don't even think about substituting for the OEM active fluid except in dire emergencies and temporarily. Active suspension fluids (mineral oil ones) are considerable different than automatic transmission fluids, power steering fluids or 'hydraulic fluids. NEVER use brake fluid (system will last about 15 seconds) or antifreeze (about one day). Normal consumption is way less than half a bottle per year.
The pnly 'acceptable' substitute for emergencies are red colored Aircraft Hydrauilc Fluid (MIL-H-5606), or either MBZ or Citroen LHM(made by Castroil) suspension fluid. MBZ is clear, Citroen is green like Nissan stuff.
DO NOT substitue unless you are expert in the fluid properties and really do know the details. Damaged internal seals due to incorrect fluid are fatal-accumulators are non-rebuildable, all the valve system seals shot, etc.
