Question on sr20 swap

When u swap the engine i know u have to change the gauge cluster ( i have an 89 240sx sohc ) cuase mine is sohc and the sr20 is dohc.... so when i do change it.. will the odometer set to the sr20 or??? im confused... like how would i tell how many miles i would have on my car... or... should i even worry about it and leave it to the peeps that are installing it?

Instead of changing out the entire cluster, just change the SOHC tach with the Japanese tach which redlines at 7500. That way you'll have the original miles and the fully functioning tachometer.

could also go to a wreck yard, get that shiz for cheap. ebay has a tendancy of ripping people off
