Question on S14 t28 rwhp ratings

Ive heard a lot of mix reviews, what does the t28 from the s14 max out at, ive heard 230rwhp up to people telling me 300rwhp. Looking for rwhp. Would it be safe to boost at about 15pounds on that turbo, of course with correct fuel/air ratio?

You can boost 15 on the S14 T28 but you won't get to 300whp with it.

Im sure you could get really close.

Friend dyno'd 274 WHP and 284 TQ on 14 PSI with S15 Injectors, Z32 MAF and an OK tune with an SAFC NEO.

Yep I think so.

15-16 PSI with decent/good AFRs will get you there.

Injectors, Z32 MAF and AFC of some sort will do the trick.

Do it right and get some something that has full control over fuel AND timing maps, not piggyback nonsense. My S14 SR w/T28/600cc injectors/Power FC made 290whp/310 tq. at 18 psi dropping to 15 psi. Ive been running 16 psi for the past 3.5 years and have had zero issues. All I do is change the oil.

At WOT, 16 psi-ish I see 38-43% duty cycle depending on the weather. I was hitting 95% when I first got my Power FC on the stock turbo and injectors at only 10 psi in the winter time.

i thought after 15psi the t28 stops making power??? what kind of number would i be expecting with my t28 at 13psi, with a walbro, fmic, 3" full exhaust?

General consensus is that the T28 is good for 17 PSI in my experience.

I have an s13 blacktop with an s14 t28, neo and pushing about 15-16 pounds i havent dynoed it yet but it should put down about 270 rwhp. Ohh my engine is bone stock with fmic and exhaust. stock injectors stock s13 maf i am at about 95% but still this is an s13 no vvt. so it should be pretty easy and if you only want 300-320 fly hp than about 270-80ish is about that.

You'll probably be more to the tune of 250rwhp since the MAF and injectors are at 100% around there.

You wont get 300hp on stock injectors and stock maf. You're lucky to break 250 on stock injectors and stock maf, even with a T28.

Guy close to me did 300whp 315tq @ 20psi on his S14 T28. Had AEM EMS, 550cc Injectors, and Stock Cams. Theres no doubt in my mind he coulda did 320whp with a set of 256 or 264 cams.

With stock injectors you wont make those numbers though. Do you know what maf he was running, if he was running one at all.
