Question on S14 headlight differences

Sorry if this seems like a silly question but I'm REALLY new to the Nissan world (I mainly do vintage and watercooled VW, but I want to build a Silvia, one of my dream cars). Any way, I'm about to take delivery of a 95 240sx SE. I was wondering what are the differences between the US spec 95 headlights and the JDM spec headlights of the same year? They "look" a little different, but I haven't been able to find a lot of good JDM headlight pics. Also are the US headlights for the 97-98 superior to the 95-96? And do I only need the fenders, hood, and headlights to swap over to the later style headlight? Again sorry for the newbie questions I know VW inside and out but I'm new to the 240. Thanks:D

JDM and Euro headlights are glass. 97/98 are projector, 95-96are not. You will also need the bumper.

Remember that UK & JDM or any other RHD headlights also "dip" to the left - not what you want in a LHD country such as the USA - unless you want to dazzle oncoming traffic that is

I should add that the lights on the 95 that I have are excellent - only negative would be that the lens appear to be constructed of plastic as opposed to glass which will "yellow" in ultraviolet light everntually

I also have a '95 240. Would anyone know about how much it would cost to buy the fender, hood, bumper, '98 headlight?

and if anyone knows places that sell headlights for less than 200$?

it would be around $3000~ give or take.. depends on if you get new parts or have any hook ups or go to a junk yeard and get them off a crashed one or something

The 97-98 headlights list for about $160 a piece. If you know anyone who works at a body shop, they may be able to get them cheaper. I worked out a deal on mine and got one for $110.
