When I had gas pouring out of the exhaust manifold and Cat it was because a fuel injector lower (small) o-ring had dislodged from the pintle. When I pulled the injector the o-ring stayed in the fuel rail and the FI pintle cap was missing.PopPop wrote: .....saw a fresh wet spot under the car so I looked at it and it was gas and oil mix coming from the left bank exhaust manifold flange. Right bank was dry
Yeah D I checked his CAS connector cleaned and put Di-Electric Grease on it to no change. I will check DS Bank Ignition Module Connectors.Q45tech wrote:Check the CAS connectors for corrosion and the gassy bank ignition module connectors.
Mike that's not uncommon for the O-rings to stay in the Fuel Rail when U remove injector and broken or missing pintle caps are common also. I will check into a few of these things before I pull the plenum. Since I got a code has to be something electronic that would trigger this. A o-ring or pintle cap would be mechanical which wouldn't cause code 21 in the ECU!goody94q45 wrote:

I haven't gotten a chance to check into this as of yet been busy but keep me up to date and I will let U know when I find his problem as well.ejXa q45 wrote:same thing happen to my Q ........ i had allot of rain last night and now the same thing is happen...i also could hear a Miss threw exhaust .... when i drive i feel a bad miss then the car takes off same thing happens all the time ....... with the peddle to the floor it shakes really bad and will not go over 3000rpm but when it it at 3500 it fine. it feels like the Ignition Module is unplugged but ,its not and i know this because when i put in my trans. i disconnected them because the wire was in my way. and then started the car with them unplugged
i do see a a plug that is not connected on both side of the Ignition Module but no way to connect them. i thought that this might be a way to test them or a something for a q45t model . well i disconnected the battery and ecu....... nothing happen. cleared the code i got and nothing happen then i pulled the main fuse for the ecu and it ran better for about a second... WTF is wrong with my car .
what is wrong with my car how can i test the Ignition Module to see if it still good
A very strong bad miss, I presume! Try not to let her throw your exhaust again! And no matter how bad she is, keep your hands to yourself while you are driving! Don't let her sell anything off your floor, no matter how hard she shakes it!ejXa q45 wrote:...i also could hear a Miss threw exhaust .... when i drive i feel a bad miss then the car takes off same thing happens all the time ....... with the peddle to the floor it shakes really bad
Got a chance last night to work on the Q and CAS connector looked good and Ign. Module connector was Ok went into cylinders 1,3,5,and 7 and number 7 plug was still wet as hell after more than a week of setting. Only had 40 minutes to do this for him last night so any suggestions on where to go next before I tear the plenum off. Injectors all in OHM Range! Here are some bad pics of the parts I remove! All aligned in cylinder order.Q45tech wrote:Check the CAS connectors for corrosion and the gassy bank ignition module connectors.
