question on rebuild!!!

i am soon to be getting a set used of JIC SF-1 coil overs w/ pillow ball mounts. Now the rear two are fine but the dampers on the front two are beging to blow. I was told it will be about 250 a piece to get new dampers for them. Anyone know of any other prices or ideas.
