Got a question that somebody might of had happen to them before,at the speed from 35,to 45 my 240sx would jurk,and hesitate.But if I shift down to 2 on the autotrans,or take it off of overdrive it would stop it's been pretty previlant for about 5 months.I don't know if it could be from new to imports if anybody has an idea please reply kinda of annoying dosen't hurt performance of car but annoying during low cruseing speedsthanks :help

Sounds as if you have the ignition breaking down. Check the plugs and wires and dist cap and rotor. In some cases the egr ports get clogged in the int.manifold and cause a missfire at that speed. But check the basics first.

thaks for the info had the car for a year now only changed the spark plugs put bosh platiumn +4 in as replacements now I think I should upgrade the ignition sys from the plug wires dis capcoil can you give me some ideas im swaping to an sr20 det in the spring summer need to have a hot strong spark if you can give me some ideas it would be greatly appreatiated thanks for the info steve lawrence in newmarket nh

First thing I would do is ditch the boshe plugs and go with factory NGK's they are about the best application for Nissan. I mean would you put 82 oct. in a Ferrari?? As far as upgrades check the 240 sx board they have a lot of owners who can help you out with what you need.
