I searched both the archived content and recent topics in 240 tech as well as RB sub forums. I came up with only semi-vague responses..Anyone have anything better ????? Search parameters used "harness removal" zerothread?id=195823

zerothread?id=109341

I have no desire to remove either the HVAC boxes or the dash..With so many ppl having to do wiring swaps I guessed there would be more info.

All these swapped cars and nobody has anything better or any more insight than what I've read?

I'm kinda surprised about this. When I did my S13, it was relatively straight forward. I removed the glove box, blower, and AC coil box (then removed the coil from that since I was removing the AC). I believe there were 2 or 3 plugs total to remove. I never removed my dash. Installation is the reverse of removal.

But maybe I am missing something?

are you trying to remove the efi harness?its not terribly hard to do and does not require the removal of any AC stuff...

That is correct. Just the efi wiring. It's proving a real PITA....

It was a pain to get my my ECU connector out from under the dash through the firewall. In my s-13 chassis the corner behind the dash there as a ****ing plastic L piece that encased my wires, ****ing took me like an hour of cutting it up with a utility knife to remove it.... after that it came right out.

moral: big hands/arms in small places doesn't work well.
