Question on G35x 2007 wheels specs!

Hi!

I am a happy new customer and owner of Infiniti G35x 2007 since 3 weeks ago!!

My first impression on this car is... WOW!! What, what, what a car!!

Since 1990, I have been buying only toyotas since they were extremely reliable... Until they fought to become #1 around the world... I noticed a sharp change in quality of their products... so, I decided to change, so I am new in Nissan/Infiniti family!

Ok, let's move to my question!! I live in Canada and plan to buy wheels and snow tires for the coming winter time.

At first, it seemed simple to go on the web and to look for wheels... big, big mistake!!!

The only thing that it says in the specs is that I have 17" wheel and 7.5" of something... When I shop, i see that, but there are other options which confused me. One says, 17X7.5 - 5X100 - 40 HL... And another says same thing except for the 5X100 that becomes 5X114.3.... And there are other numbers too!!!

Ooooo boy, I want to make sure to buy the right wheels!! For tire purpose, I am ok, I know it is 225/55, R17, so one thing solved!!

Welcome to nico. I have a G35x also and leave in Canada. I bought my G last November I went thru the winter with it. If I were you I would use the Good Year tire(since they are all season) For winter and would buy nice set for summer. I had no problem at all in our winter wonderland last year. I use my car every day.

Also if you go on tirarack.com website you pick you car and gives you all the tires for the size.

Don't forget to load up some pictures.
