Ive searched all over but I'm not sure what to do. I just put a running ka in and filled the rad up and ran it then filled it up again. I was driving it around my neighborhood and the temp started going up. Looked in the rad and it looked like it could use more so I'm guessing the thermo opened.

My question is should I crack the bleeder by the intake and slowly fill the rad with the car on or off? Or is there any other suggestions as to what I should do?

I didn't know how picky these cars were with the coolant system until after I did all of this.

From the manufacturer

"This engines does not require a specified bleed procedure. After filling cooling system, run engine to operating temperature with radiator/pressure cap off. Air will then be automatically bled through cap opening."

Sweet! Thanks! I just got really nervous after reading all of these horror stories. I'll try it once I get my civic back from getting the exhaust repaired. I left both the battery and the extra coolant in it haha.
