I need to know what the maximum travel for the active suspension system in the g50. According to some people i talked, the most movement is about 3 cm. Is that correct? When i was buying my q45, i test drove some active suspension models and i remember having alot more travel, at least inches of movements...not cm...can some one help me out. Trying to figure out the suspension on the president and if its only cm of movement, then not worth my time worrying about. Thanks for any help in advance.

Speak to Keith. http://www.q45asuspension.com

I am sure it is a least as much as the non-active, i.e. - 4 or 5 inches.

I posted it in your other thread.....!!!

Just like almost all shocks have a 7" stroke the system movement probably exceeds +- 3.5".

The system holds the body level until 0.5 G is exceeded then the strings and away bars are allowed to compress/ expand as on a conventional suspension.

I can't give you a specific number for the travel on my Active... but, I can tell you it's definately inches not cm. I left my car running and jacked it up once (don't do that fellow active owners) and had the car up at least 3" and the wheels was still on the ground.

For whatever that is worth to you.

That's because you're confusing suspension travel with adjustability. The struts themselves may have 5.7" or so of *travel*, but that doesn't mean you will be able to use a controller to slam the car itself down 5.7"... not even close actually, if at all.

right..... you have to figure that the car sits somewhere in the middle, and that youd be able to go about 2-2.5in in either direction.
