Buying a 96 ka24de, my question is.. will I need anything extra to do swap? My current motor has a turbo in it with a stock cpu tune. Will I need to do anything or is it plug and play?

I have a 96+ motor in my 92, bought it like that though, IDK if there's a major difference in anything and what not =\. If i knew id tell you lol. But i think that there is some emission stuff that needs to be removed because the 96+ is OBD2

Swap over S13 Distributor, Intake Manifold, exhaust/turbo manifold.
keep your old ECU/external coil/wiring harness.

if your chassis is a dohc chassis, that makes it all the more easier, after that its just plug and play.

i have a feeling im forgetting something tho..
i just put a 97 ka in a 89 s13 ha.

I have all my 91 ka24de stuff... was just making sure I get anything I might need from the 96 motor.
