I'm not quite sure what to search on this...

I tried though, so bear with me

I just bought a AEM intake for an s13 and everythings going swimmingly well

then I notice a hose coming straight up parallel to the radiator, right in front of it.

I check the stock intake and theres a hole for it, but on my AEM theres a attachment for it and its much smaller, but its plugged up. Gettin that off is no problem, just wondering what the hell the hose is and if its important

Should i just connect it with other tubing? can I leave it be? whats the drill here?...
