how do you put in the cas?

Its tricky, you just got to softly line up the gear/half moon thing and it slide in. The alignment has to be perfect so it might take a few tries.

I had a very easy time of it, I set my motor to tdc so I could easily line up the key(totally unnececessary but helpful) and took the timing cover off since I had to pretty much beat out a broken one before the replacement could be used. After that, simply slide the bugger in the hole and finger thread the screws in. Then line up the key grooves with a pick or small screwdriver so they face either up or down (this is where it became easier to use TDC-the slots in the cam and CAS are oriented horizontal not some weird angle) and slowly slide the timing cover on, letting the CAS shaft slide in without forcing it too much. Bam.

Added: I dunno if everyone's CAS is frozen in one spot like mine was, that is why had to beat it out. New one was a little snug I guess, but I popped it in over the old spots left and the timing was right the first time.
