My 240 doesnt seem to pull as hard in boost as it use to. Its not a major drop, but noticeable and i dont want it to turn into a major problem. My SAFC 2 isnt mounted and it use to throw it out of place in 1st gear, now it doesnt. I was thinking it might have a slight compression drop in a cylinder, but im not sure.

Check all the intercooler pipes and look at the timing and the Plug gap.

Im changing the plugs and wires tomarrow, and im swaping to a FMIC hopefully within a week. Now, the timing could be off a little. I dont know if this has anything to do with it but when ever i slightly get into boost (2800-3000rpm) the engine tends to hesitate or sputter as if the governor was kicking in and the engine was cutting off. Now, if im giving it full throttle then it doesnt do that, only when im driving it easy. Also, the car will cut off every once in a while when im coming to a stop if i dont down shift through most of the gears, but always cranks back up fine. If it is the timing, how would i go about checking and fixing it?

Thanx for all your help,Taylor
