I had this muffler on my 07 Sentra 2.0s. Guys, it sounds like it was 5.0L engine under the hood.. So I'm gona buy couple for my AC coze I can not afford catback+its a leased car. So my question is there any chance that this weird mufflers can be harmful for engine\perfomance ?

"The method used with this muffler to reduce noise is mainly absorption. The pulses have to travel through the muffler twice, which basically makes the muffler twice as long with twice the sound killing power. Also some acoustical tuning goes into making a muffler like this as well. With brass wind instruments, you change the note by selecting different length tubes for the air to travel. Longer tubes will give a deeper note while shorter tubes give a higher note. This type of muffler basically lengthens the tube, allowing sound waves to spread out and emit a deeper tone once exiting the system. The twin-pass design flows as well as a straight-through but will sound much quieter."

Those things sound verrrryyyyyyy ricer and tacky. You have a erally nice classy car.. don't ruin it with something that sounds like that.

Thanx for advice bro, but the problem is that I had this muffler and sound was very deep and clean, (M1 muffler+weapon-R SRI).

So if its gona b couple more guys saying that its rice....I'm not gona go for it...but its kinda cheap, so we can experiment it with AC, U can always put stock mufflers back anytime.

Why not try an axle back? Stillen has one and Tanabe should be coming out soon.

$500 vs 50 hmmm. I was thinking about it but my bugget is veeeery imited, I'm gona go for Bluebat roof\headlights\taillights overlays; injen (hopefully we gona get good price) and roof wing. Pay 500 to get extra 5 ponies @5000 rpms for my 4 cyl, is not making any sense for me, but my right muffler damaged after accident on the Bay bridge, Thats why I asked this question, Otherwise I would keep my stock exhaust.

If you're willing to get a muffler for $30, you should already know the risks involved.

id say go for it, 30 bucks is worth a try, even if the muffler sounds half *** decent, since you said u damaged the stock exhaust already, it has to be replaced

30 bucks is nothing, but getting it installed will cost atleast 100, since ul have to be cutting and welding (dont forget A/C has dual muffs) so really what ur paying for is the install

Its gonna cost a lot more then $50.... IIRC the A/C has a single pipe to the back that goes to a single muffler that has dual outlets. So, you'll still need a Y-pipe to split it to 2, and will need to completely custom fabricate your own (or have someone do it for you) axle back. It sounds like the stillen axle back will be much more simple, and will probably sound better.

I believe is he talking about the exhaust system. An example would be the Tanabe axle back, which gives 5hp and 6 Torque and would cost around $400-500. Therefore the good rule of thumb is just an estimate. I am not sure if I am correct.
