I did a search in this forum (specifically for M37) but really couldn't find anything.
This is my first time trying to mount a radar detector (Escort 9500ix) with a mirrortap connection. All the instructions I see are for different cars and it looks like the mirror has a molex connection in the rear. However, I don't see it in our car?

So can someone tell me how it's done? Or better yet, if you have pictures to show, I'd really appreciate it.

P.S. My car has LDW (Lane Departure Warning) so there's a plastic enclosure for the camera behind the rear view mirror.

Those plastic pieces pull off - they are just attached by clips, be careful though since the plastic pieces are thin.
sorry, can't remember which color wire in the mirror provides power and which is ground - just check with a meter.

Not sure this will help you but I installed mine by using an add-a-circuit and running the wire down the A pillar.

Check out this thread: hooking-up-a-radar-detector-t595094.htm ... 20detector

should help a little more - take some pictures when you do yours and you could make a DIY for the How To & FAQ section... :bigthumb:
