I have a 1990 240sx I need to patch up. long story short gravel hit the gas tank puncturing it, so I replaced the gas tank but while I was at it I was going to put a walbro pump in so I removed the fuel rail to install a nismo fpr. However, I realized after starting that the frame rail was bent so I went out and bought another 240 for the sr project.

3 questions:1. anyone have any pics of the fuel rail on a ka24e right where it hooks up because I cannot figure out how to get the line's back on

2. One of the bolts that connect the rail snapped (it got stuck halfway down), I tried drilling it out to no luck, I'm going to keep trying to drill it out though if I can and I got a new bolt from nissan. Will JB weld hold it down well enough to make it stable? It would then be impossible to ever remove the rail right? Would a tap work to fix the threads if I actually do get the bolt drilled out? The first bolt broke while I was tightening it and it got stuck so I figured the threads were somehow messed up.

3. There is a metal/rubber fuel line that was messed up - is it ok to replace this line with this just a rubber line or do pepboys or advanced auto or something carry the metal line I'm talking about (from the fpr to something towards the fender)

Thanks in advance for all your help.

this is for a ka24de engine correct? if so here we go

1.) the stock rubber lines that go to the rail correct? if so they just push on and use new fuel line hose clamps...it takes some muscle

2.) best solution take the manifold off the car and drill out the holes with a press and retap for a bigger bolt size(best solution) cheap solution would be drill it through on the car and use a bolt and lock nut

3.) they sell fuel line at those auto stores...just ask for the high pressure line(rated to 100 or 150 psi so it will be fine
