Question from new coupe owner

On day 8 of ownership of '08 G37 S, very happy with it till "service engine soon" light came one last night, no indications of any mech problem. Manual says indicates emission system problemm should extinguish after a few trips, otherwise take to dealer. My dealer is more than 60 miles away. ANyone have similarr experience with the warning light? Didi it go out?

I've had this problem on other cars. It did go out as there wasn't really a problem.

But I will ask you this, is your gas cap screwed tightly? Check that. If it doesn't go away, take it to the dealer since its under warranty. I'm sure you could arrange for a loaner for the day and go back the next to get your G.
