i havent test light or anything, east metro auto electrics just put a cut off relay that just turns everything from the engine fuse box to the positive cable off.

that way supposedly overnight the car doesnt drain.

but it has, after 3 days not being cranked. its drained.

my question is:

how did you guys find your parasitic battery drain problem, and what was it that was causing the problem?

after 6 exchanges of batterys from pepboys, yes its a parasitic drain. and its not the alternator. the battery will charge when its idle forever if it is left on. its a new alternator anyways.

I had that issue with mine, my problem turned out to be the headunit was bad, and kept drawing power, check to see if the interior lights are getting power and if the switches are working, including the trunk light, there isnt much else other then the motors that would or could cause a draw.

ok, i dont know too much about s13's but i have the basic trim level, so i dont have much switch that i know of as much as the dome light switch.

i mean i have manual locking doors/roll up windows. are there switches in those?

ill check everywhere tomorrow a bad head unit? that might be my case!
