Question for Steve The Tech

Hey Steve on my car fax I have an Infiniti code AA20AA replaced long block engine assembly as per Ted @ tech line. Is this the whole engine that was repalced? The M only had 24,235 miles at the time.

I know the previous owner was a nightmare for the Infiniti techs looks like he took the car back many times so they would say it was a lemon and return his money. My car fax is 12 pages long. I have a ton of new parts on the M that's 4 sure.....

You know I find that second owners of these types of "lemons" sometimes have a very long happy life with their new car. AA20AA is the warranty operation code for engine replacement, stupid code I don't want to learn.

I like the actual line from the repair order, I lol'd a little. I have spoken to Ted on a few occasions, nice guy but I don't envy his job. The long block could have been an answer for any number of reasons. I would say go to the dealer and ask them for a copy of the service history. Be advised you may not like everything you see, but at least the service department is familiar with your car.

Personally I would buy one of those cars, they are usually owned by people who don't beat them but hate the car for some reason.
