yo i wanted to ask one of yaw since you are audio g's. i got a deal on this amp. http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-e...-M500. its the alpine MRP-M500. what sub would you suggest this amp could push nicely? i was thinkning alpine type r 10'' but im not sure if this amp can handle it. one more thing if the sub is 2 ohms it pushes 500 w and a 4 ohm would push only 350w? is that right? so if you had this amp which sub would you pair it with? thanks

It should push the Alpine SWR 1022D. You can bridge it down to 2 ohms. Whats your budget on the sub? What kind of music do you listen to? What kind of head unit are you using?

The type R would work fine. You can use the R and take advantage of all 500 watts the amp can produce.

However, you want to go with the 1042D which is a dual 4 ohm that can be wired to a final 2-ohm load. The dual 2 ohm will get you either 1-ohm (not stable) or 4-ohms (less power).

Double

......Or maybe a JL 10W6v2-D4, but it will run you a little more money.
