Ok so I replaced my digital clock with that of the qx4 and the back light is on and it is working on and off (just as with my digital clock AND I cannot seem to rotate the arms to adjust the time) - so instead of fixing mine, I took the qx4 one and is soldering the solution for this as well?? Has anyone experienced problems with their QX4 clock and what did you do other than replace the whole thing!!??? Any help would be appreciated.

The next question is that I want to install the power valves from the auto r50s - mine is a 5spd and only coughs up 240torq whereas the auto 3.5 loses 10 hp only to produce 265torq!!! I understand that the function is electronically controlled by the auto transmission (as the revs go up, more torq is produced) and mine probably has 250torq MAX - WITH an intake and exhaust (all tuning up to date) - no way I am gonna cough up $1200 PLUS labour for cams from 4x4 altho it REALLY seems tempting!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

buy cams and install them yourself if you want to keep costs down.

Ive also seen a turboed G35, which is the same vq engine as ours, and it was bored out from 3.5L to 4.0L, i think there is actually also a kit for it too once you bore it out.

Hold on, hold on .....a 4.0 kit - where exactly ??? is this a one off type of situation??? The reason for the cost issue is not to just keep it down but also to be able to justify it with logic - and the 4.0 is VERY logical - also, I noticed you are lowered 2" - how is the ride!!?? I am on the fence about just buying the front and getting med-heavy duty rear springs from 4x4 which is pretty mush stock height - what was keeping me away has been that several people on here were not too happy with the harsh results ..... any thoughts/experience would be appreciated......

Mine was broken since I purchased the vehicle luckily I found one at the junkyard last weekend for a couple bucks. I just replaced it didn't mess with trying to fix the old one. Doesn't help your situation, but I was thinking about taking apart the old one ill let you know if I find anything that may help you.
